Computer Glasses – Do You Need Them?

If you have reached the point where you need reading glasses to read a book then you probably need computer glasses while using your computer. Why? Reading glasses are designed to help you see clearly while reading text about 12 inches in front of you. If you use these same glasses while using a computer you still have to keep your head 12 inches from the text but now that text is being displayed from a bright computer screen. Staring at a computer screen from this distance can hurt your eyes.

Your eyes may start to become sensitive to the light. Your eyes might start feeling strained and dry. Your vision might start becoming blurry. You may start getting headaches while sitting in front of your computer. All of these are signs of Computer Vision Syndrome. People who are suffering from Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) may not even know why their eyes are bothering them.

People with normal vision sit 18-24 inches from a computer screen during everyday use. Computer Glasses allow you to sit the proper distance from the computer screen and still see the text clearly. This will help reduce the effects of Computer Vision Syndrome. As time goes on people will hear more and more about the damage computer monitors are doing to our eyes and how computer glasses can help prevent much of this damage.

If you are one of those people who needs reading glasses to read a book do yourself a favor and use computer glasses while sitting in front of your computer. Your eyes will thank you.

PC Clearview Computer Glasseswww. pcclearview. com

It is important to always keep your computer free from virus. Computer virus is much like a disease. When your computer infected virus, it will affect your computer operation negatively. If you found it early, you still might be able to clear it smoothly. But, if you found it too late, then it might be a disaster to you. It will make your computer unable to operate totally and you have to format your computer causing you lose all the important data stored in the computer. A good sign that indicates your computer might be infected by virus is slow in task-processing. You need to stay alert when encounter this situation as there are computer viruses created to slow down your computer processing power. Another sign is when some of the files in the operation system were corrupted suddenly. An even worst case is when you can’t directly browse into your disk drive. You will have to right click and then select ‘open’ to get into your disk drive. Also, if you are a frequent computer users, you may have experienced computer auto-restart quite often. Usually the computer will pop up a message informing you that the computer will shut down itself in the next 60 seconds. In this case, the computer probably has infected by a virus called W32. Blaster. Worms. The easiest method to find out whether viruses have gone into your computer is obviously by installing an antivirus software. The strong and advance antivirus software will notify immediately when your computer just infected by a virus, letting your take the necessary action instantly. However, there are powerful computer viruses created to shut down your antivirus software in order to get into your computer without a single notification from your antivirus software to you. There are also certain types of viruses that can mislead your antivirus software and make the software treats the virus as an authorized program. So, it is necessary to take 5 to 10 seconds everyday looking at your computer task manager. Getting your task manager opened is pretty easy; just press Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard. When the task manager shows up, you can see the activity running and CPU usage level in the ‘Process Tab’. If you see more than 50% of CPU resources is being occupied by unknown program, then possibly the computer has been infected by virus. Another method you can use to detect virus is by checking for unidentified. exe file appear in the computer system. Those unidentified. exe files are actually developed to trick you by replicating itself to be similar to some of the file in your computer. For instance, lets say you have a file name ‘Book’ in your ‘My Computer’ folder. One day when you go to your ‘My Computer’ folder again to open the ‘Book’ file but you notice that there is another similar file named Book but with dot exe like Book. exe. That actually is a virus that will be destroying your computer system soon. So, always spend some time to look around your folders and files, see whether there is any unidentified. exe file. If you found one, take action immediately to remove it.

Computers are man-made machines. Because man is prone to error, it naturally follows that the things he makes also have the tendency to encounter faults in the system. While computers these days are more technologically advanced, they are still not perfect and thus still not free from flaws, including slow computer XP problems. In fact, it is because of the fact that computers are now more complex than ever that they are more likely to experience system errors.
There are many possible reasons why slow computer problems may occur. In general, these problems are attributed to the natural process of aging that even computers, which are non-living things, go through. Thus, with time, wear and tear can cause the gradual deterioration of any computer and the programs that run it, including the globally popular Windows XP. Specifically speaking, however, there are a number of factors that contribute to the wearing and tearing of a Windows XP computer. A slow running computer can be annoying and frustrating, which is why it is of utmost importance that the causes of the slowdown be fixed right away. The good news is, you don’t have to spend anything for computer repairs – you can do them all on your own.
If you have a computer and are experiencing slow computer XP problems, one of the most basic things you should do to is to take a look at your folder for currently existing temporary files. This is the folder that contains your Internet browser’s history and cache, that part of a computer where websites or web pages are each stored as individual files. When your temporary files folder gets full, your computer encounters difficulty in organizing the files it holds. It is vital to the recovery of your computer that said folder be emptied as soon as possible, and this should be observed on a regular basis – just as you should do with your recycling bin. Remember, just because you delete a file – a program or an application – doesn’t mean it’s no longer in your computer system; it is only actually transferred into the recycling bin. To permanently get rid of unwanted and unnecessary files that can cause slow computer XP problems, empty your recycling bin regularly.
Another area of your computer that you should check to solve your slow computer XP problems is your start-up menu. There are programs that, when installed into a computer system, have the ability to be run directly upon start-up. This option is in fact present in most programs that are being used and developed these days. To help your computer regain its original speed, delete said option of programs so that they won’t have to be run right after you turn on your computer – because this wreaks confusion in your computer system. In line with this, avoid clicking on programs when your computer has just powered up. Wait for your computer to complete its start-up process before opening any programs or typing in further instructions.
These simple tips are enough to remedy your slow computer XP problems with no charge at all. For best results, experts recommend getting software that cleans up the registry in order to keep slowdown troubles at bay for a long, long time.
